Terms of use
Futureproof is under construction. This site describes a service that has not launched yet and is not available to customers.
You cannot open an account, deposit money or buy assets through this site. The only action is to add your email address to the waitlist.
Accounts, custody and execution in the upcoming service are provided by licensed external partners. The terms of the service are published before launch.
Privacy policy
The data controller is Goobit Group AB (publ), company reg. no. 556952-8671, hej@futureproof.money. Below we describe every piece of data the site actually stores, what it is used for and how long it is kept.
The email address you enter when joining the waitlist. Stored with it are the time of sign-up, the time of confirmation, your language choice and a random code used for the link in the confirmation email. The purpose is to tell you when Futureproof opens. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Consent is documented when you click the link in the confirmation email, and you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what has already been sent. If you do not confirm the address we delete it within 30 days. Confirmed addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, and no longer than twelve months after launch, after which they are deleted.
How you reached the site. When you sign up we store, together with your address, where the visit came from: the channel, the type of channel, the campaign name, the page you came from in the form of domain name and path, and which page on futureproof.money you landed on. This comes from the link's own tagging and from the browser's record of the previous page. The purpose is to see which channels work. It is kept for as long as the sign-up.
A technical log of page views. Each time a page loads, our server stores a row with the time, which page was shown and the same details about where the visit came from. No IP address, no name and no code in your browser is linked to the row, and it cannot be linked to you. We only use it to count visits per channel. The log is kept until we no longer need it to follow up the launch.
Hashed IP addresses. To stop spam and overload we count how many sign-ups and requests come from the same visitor. The address is never stored in clear text: it is run through a one-way calculation together with a secret key, and only the result is stored. The purpose is security and operation, and the legal basis is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f). Rows are deleted on an ongoing basis once they are older than a day.
We never sell your data and do not use it for advertising or profiling. The data is processed by our processors for email delivery, database and hosting, acting on our instructions. Any transfer outside the EEA is made on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
You have the right to request a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict the processing and to have it transferred. Email hej@futureproof.money and we will help you. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, imy.se.
